BOISE -- The Boise Co-op announced plans Wednesday that it will stick around for the long haul and will expand.

Leaders at the specialty store have signed a long-term lease good through 2036.

The board of directors are also looking at opening a second store though no specific site has been chosen yet.

The Co-op was founded in 1973, and has been located on Fort Street since 1995.
