BOISE -- The man who suffered the most serious injuries in a massive pile-up on Interstate 84 last week is out of the hospital.

Fifty-two-year-old Jose Silva-Cuellar was driving his SUV on Thursday morning when he was pinned under a Kenworth logging truck.

Idaho State Police reported the logging truck tried to stop in the foggy conditions and ended up crashing into several vehicles.

Rescuers worked for more than hour to get Cuellar out of his vehicle.

He was listed in serious condition when he was first taken to Saint Alphonsus, but recovered enough over the weekend and was released from the hospital.
