MIDDLETON -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who robbed a Jacksons Shell Station early Sunday morning.

The man, who was brandishing a handgun, walked into the store just before 1 a.m. and demanded cash from the store clerk, the Canyon County Sheriff's Office said.

The robber took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarette cartons, police said.

The suspect is described as being between 5 foot 4 and 5 foot 9 and weighing between 145 and 165 pounds.

He was wearing a black jacket with a light colored vertical stripe down the front, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.

He was wearing a black full face mask with a light colored emblem on the front of the forehead. Deputies say the face mask is similar to those being used for snowmobiling.
