BOISE -- Two suspects in a couple of north Boise burglaries are in jail because, police say, someone was watching out for his neighbors.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Elton Denny and 20-year-old Joseph Smiley Sunday night in the Hulls Gulch neighborhood after a neighbor called about an unfamiliar car and sounds coming from a house belonging to some people who he knew were out of town.
They say Denny and Smiley walked out and surrendered, but a third person ran away.
When searching their car, officers found a video game system that had just been reported stolen from a home off of 27th and State streets.
Police then took Denny and Smiley to the Ada County Jail. They are both charged with two counts of burglary and one count of grand theft.
