MERIDIAN -- Teachers and students at Rocky Mountain High School won't need to go far to take care of their banking needs.

Capital Educators Credit Union, or CapEd, has opened an in-school branch.

The branch is the first in-school branch for the credit union, according to vice president of marketing, Kathy Palumbo.

The branch is not open to the public, but rather, is available only for the school's teachers and students. It is open for one hour, from 11 a.m. to noon, each school day.

Officials are planning a grand opening ceremony on Friday.
