CALDWELL -- Hiring managers representing seven local employers met with job candidates in Caldwell Monday morning.

A job fair was held at the Idaho Department of Labor's Canyon County office. Hundreds of people attended the event hoping to land a full-time, part-time or seasonal position.

Representatives from HB Boys/Burger King, ProService, Adecco, Circle J, Franz Family Bakeries and Home Depot were on hand looking at resumes and completing on-site interviews with qualified applicants.

ProService is looking to hire 70 seasonal employees to work at its Meridian call center during the holiday season.

We've seen some good candidates and would love to speak to them in person. We do a phone interview and typically we bring them down to our shop, said Mark Goin, operations manager at ProService.

It's nice that we have employers come in to hire some of these folks and to meet with them. There will probably even be some on-site hiring today, said Lisa Anzaldua, workforce consultant.

Although the job fair ended at 11:30 a.m. employers will continue interviewing candidates for open positions.

If you're looking for work, you can find more information about job openings by visiting the Idaho Department of Labor's website.
