IDAHO FALLS -- A 41-year-old Ammon woman faces a misdemeanor charge for the death of her 21-month-old daughter, who was left in a car.

Rebecca Randall is being charged with injury to a child for the June 18 death of Elizabeth Randall.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate the girl died of hyperthermia. Temperatures were in the high 80s and low 90s that day. However the toxicology results from the girl's autopsy are not complete, so the cause of death isn't official.

Bonneville County Prosecutor Bruce Pickett says Randall was issued a summons on Tuesday. Her court appearance is set for Aug. 22.
