MERIDIAN -- Drivers passing through Meridian Thursday afternoon didn't go unnoticed, in fact, a handful of teens were looking to see what you were doing behind the wheel.

You might have seen these students near the intersection of Ten Mile Road and Cherry Lane.

They're part of the Meridian Mayor's Youth Advisory Council, and they're tracking dangerous driving behaviors for their study Changing Teen Behaviors.

Funded by a State Farm grant, teens were noting the number of drivers who pass during the two and a half hour period that are texting while driving and not wearing a seat belt.
