BOISE-- A fire broke out south of the Boise Airport this morning.

Firefighters say workers were using torches to cut up some machinery for salvage.

Crews from the Boise Fire Department and the Air National Guard at Gowen Field responded.

The National Guard firefighters shot fire extinguishing foam from one of their crash response trucks.

Boise firefighters mopped up some hot spots.
