BOISE -- There's a marquee matchup next Wednesday to lead the dominant Republican caucus in Idaho's House, with House Speaker Lawerence Denney facing a challenge from Assistant House Majority Leader Scott Bedke.

But those aren't the only House leadership posts up for grabs at a secret vote, to be held behind closed doors at a Boise country club as Republicans gather for their organizational session ahead of the 2013 Legislature.

House Majority Leader Mike Moyle has a challenge from Rep. Rich Wills of Glenns Ferry.

Reps. Christy Perry of Nampa, Steve Hartgen of Twin Falls and John Vander Woude of Meridian are vying for the open House majority caucus chair post.

And there's also a three-way competition for Bedke's old job.

There, Reps. Brent Crane of Nampa, Jeff Thompson of Idaho Falls and Lynn Luker of Boise are sparring to be assistant majority leader.
