TWIN FALLS -- A 36-year-old Wendell man was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Main Street in Wendell.
The Idaho State Police says Roney Welker was flown to a Boise hospital after the crash at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The ISP says a 24-year-old Wendell woman was westbound in a Dodge Caravan when she struck Welker as he crossed Main Street about 200 feet east of the crosswalk.
The ISP says the setting sun contributed to the crash and that Welker had consumed alcohol.
Officials at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise tells The Times-News that Welker was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning.
