KUNA, Idaho -- Fire crews knocked down a grass fire late Monday morning before it damaged any structures.

Kuna fire officials say the grass fire surrounded a couple buildings including a small home. Firefighters put out the flames before they could do any damage.

Another home nearby was not threatened.

The homes are on West Kuna Road between Ten Mile and Black Cat roads and are all vacant according to fire officials.

The fire is estimated to have burned about four to five acres.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
