WENDELL -- A 23-year-old Boise man was hurt after rolling his car Monday morning near Wendell.

Idaho State Police say Ralph A. Lepore was headed west on Interstate 84 when his 2000 GMC Sierra drifted into the median.

Lepore overcorrected, swerving back onto the road, then overcorrected again, causing the vehicle to flip in the median. The car rolled through the median and into the eastbound lanes of traffic, police say.

The driver was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Police say he was wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened.

Both eastbound lanes of I-84 were closed for about two hours after the wreck.

The crash remains under investigation.
