BOISE -- The hit Broadway musical Wicked has been wowing audiences at the Morrison Center for nearly two weeks now.

On Tuesday, the cast and crew took a break from performing on stage to help the Idaho Foodbank.

They spent part of the day sorting food with other volunteers.

Those who took part said that it's really rewarding to give back to the communities they visit, especially cities as special as Boise.

It's so refreshing to be in a city that has so much to offer outdoors and you can ride your bike, hike, whatever. It's such a beautiful, lush city and the downtown is great too all the coffee shops, its really cute, said Laurel Harris, who plays Elphaba.

If you haven't seen it yet, Wicked is playing nightly at the Morrison Center through May 4.
