CALDWELL -- Firefighter Rob Bailey braved snow and wind on a roof for the 5th annual Caldwell Fire Department Coats for Kids.

Bailey braved the elements at the fire station at 310 7th Ave in Caldwell to raise awareness for area kids in need. He says he'll stay on the roof until he collects at least 500 new or gently used coats.

At 5 p.m. Bailey said he's collected about 300 coats so far.

They are also accepting food donations and would like to reach 500 pounds to donate to families in need.
