BOISE -- A Boise man faces charges after prosecutors say two teenage boys overdosed on a synthetic drug.

Boise police say 20-year-old Abraham Osuna faces two counts of felony injury to a child. Prosecutors say Osuna provided the synthetic drug 25C to two boys on Oct. 26 and both ended up in the hospital. One boy stopped breathing for a time.

Osuna's arraignment is set for Nov. 18. He was already jailed following his arrest on marijuana delivery charges filed on Oct. 30 as a result of the search of his residence by police investigating the overdoses.

Police say 25C is one of a group of new synthetic drugs being sold in Boise. Officers are aware of at least six overdoses connected to this type of drug over the past three months.
