CRAIGMONT -- Flames destroyed an old grain elevator and several other buildings in the northern Idaho town of Craigmont Sunday.

Video of the scene showed flames engulfing a building at the Columbia Grain lot shortly after it started around 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

KTVB spoke to a resident who can see the fire from her backyard. She said the fire started in what she believes was an old seed building, then spread to several other buildings on the Columbia Grain grounds.

Multiple fire crews from the surrounding area responded to the fire.

There are homes and a school nearby. Another video showed the flames burning dangerously close to those homes.
