HAILEY -- A central Idaho high school student who authorities say brought synthetic marijuana and a flare gun to school where he was looking up information on the Internet on how build bombs to blow up buildings has been taken into custody.

The Times-News reports that 18-year-old Colton Turner of Ketchum was arrested Thursday at Silver Creek High School and faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A school spokeswoman says Turner has been dismissed from the school.

Turner was booked into the Blaine County Jail.
