EASTERN OREGON -- The Oregon Department of Transportation says Interstate 84 westbound near La Grande has reopened after a weather-related accident closed a portion of the freeway around 12:45 p.m. Monday.

The closure was reportedly due to a spun out semi trailer, and affected travel between La Grande and Meacham until around 1:30 p.m.

ODOT also reported several other vehicles spun out along the freeway. They say drivers should expect delays and be prepared for severe winter weather.

For road conditions, check KTVB's traffic reports, or call (800) 977-6368, or (503) 588-2941 from out of state.
