BOISE -- The Ada County Coroner's Office has identified a man's body found in Ann Morrison Park Sunday afternoon.
The deceased man is James Allen, 47, who had been living as a transient in Boise.
Boise Police say the body was laying partially in a small canal near the duck pond in the southwest corner of the park just below Crescent Rim Drive.
The body was found at 5:44 p.m. by a person using the park.
According to the coroner's report, an autopsy found no signs of injury. A cause of death is undetermined. It will likely take several weeks to get back toxicology results.
Investigators said Sunday evening that they think the man was homeless. They also believe the body had been in the park for some time. Police found no signs of foul play.
