CALDWELL, Idaho -- With school just around the corner, Southwest District Health held a walk-in immunization clinic for kids and teens.

The goal of the clinic was to promote healthy kids and healthy communities by encouraging parents to immunize their children.

The clinic was also an opportunity to practice setting up a mass vaccination clinic like we saw just a few years ago with the H1N1 pandemic, a situation where people needed to get vaccinated quickly.

Southwest District Health said that over 200 youth were immunized and another 60 rain checks were issued for those who were not able to wait.
