BOISE Boise Police say they have recovered a van that was stolen from a Boise Bench home earlier this month. The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan is specially equipped and is the primary transportation for a quadriplegic man in his 20s.

Police are still looking for two male suspects who officers believe took the van for a joyride.

On Saturday evening, an off-duty Probation and Parole officer recognized the stolen van from alerts sent out by Boise Police. The van was found in a grocery store parking lot on Broadway Avenue.

The van has been returned to its owner. The owner tells police he is happy to have it back. The van was damaged by the thieves.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
