The child's parents called 911 just after 7 p.m. Friday to report that she had been injured, according to Lt. Cord Wood of the Corvallis Police Dept.
The girl had been playing in the front of the house with two other children when she was struck by the vehcle. Her father had been driving the vehicle.
Immediately, and prior to police arriving, family members transported the child via personal vehicle to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center where efforts to save her were unsuccessful, Wood said.
