OLA,Idaho -- One man was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on the Sweet Ola Highway Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Daryn Bundtrock, 50, of Eagle, was traveling southbound on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Bundtrock went off the roadway for unknown reasons, went down an embankment and collided with some rocks.

Bundtrock was taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with serious injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and Bundtrock was not wearing a helmet.

The lanes were blocked for approximately 2 1/2 hours as police investigated.
