BOISE -- You will have a chance to voice your opinions to the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee about Idaho's Health and Welfare budget Friday.
Gov. Butch Otter has recommended slashing $25 million in state-funded Medicaid benefits.
The hearing is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Capitol auditorium.
Legislative staff will begin taking sign-ups at 7 a.m.
Each person's testimony is limited to three minutes.
Opportunities to speak will be given on a first come-first served basis.
Last week's public hearing on the education budget brought out more than 500 people. More than 130 people testified at the hearing.
Since then, more than 400 have submitted written testimony.
