EAGLE -- A little rain Sunday morning didn't deter people attending the Eagle Island Experience.

Organizers decided to bring the celebration back for its 14th year after taking a break in 2013.

They say it's a great way to celebrate spring with lots of bands, belly dancers, vendors, and great food.

Every year, the event benefits a local non-profit organization.

This year we are benefiting the Idaho Food Bank, said event coordinator Carl Scheiber. We are giving reduced admission if they bring in cans of food. We are hoping to more than make money on admission, we would like to fill the cans as well.

The festival runs until 10 p.m. Sunday. Admission is just $2 with a donation of three cans of food.
