BOISE -- A 13-year-old girl who was hit by a car Sunday has died of her injuries early Tuesday evening, according to Boise Police.

Police say the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 20 at the intersection of West Ustick Road and Jullion Street.

The Ada County coroner has identified the girl as Olivia Schnacker. She died just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma.

Witnesses told police a car driving on Ustick hit the girl while she was crossing the road on her bike. She was with two other children at the time. The 13-year-old was not wearing a helmet.

Although there is a pedestrian crossing at that location, police have not said if the teen was in a crosswalk when the crash happened.

Investigators are still trying to determine how the crash happened, and say the investigation remains a priority for them.
