NAMPA A man wanted for robbery has been arrested after a brief chase with police at a Nampa apartment complex.

Around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nampa Police officers spotted 22-year-old Shane Tucker in an apartment complex in the 1900 block of 1st Street North.

As officers approached Tucker, he drove away in a blue Dodge pickup. After going just a few hundred feet, the pickup crashed into two parked cars at another apartment complex in the 1900 block of E. Railroad.

Tucker then jumped out of the pickup and went into a nearby apartment through a window.

The cop said freeze and he slammed the door, and he ran back in and come to find out he had crawled through the bedroom window, said witness Blaine Bradley.

He exited out the back where he was taken into custody by police.

Tucker was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a minor leg injury. Upon his release from the hospital, Tucker was arrested and booked into the Canyon County Jail.

In addition to the outstanding robbery warrant, Tucker is charged with possession of a controlled substance, unlawful entry, reckless driving, driving while suspended and resisting arrest.
