BOISE -- Police say two people wanted in connection with a weekend stabbing in Garden City have been arrested in downtown Boise.
Shawn Marcum, 30, and Faith Delgado, 25, are being held in the Ada County Jail on various charges connected to the stabbing.
Marcum was arrested around midnight Wednesday near a downtown Boise motel. Delgado was taken into custody a few hours later.
Officers say Marcum stabbed a 46-year-old man in the chest at a Garden City home over the weekend. The two men know each other, according to police, and the victim was able to describe Marcum to officers after the stabbing.
Furthermore, prosecutors say 25-year-old Faith Delgado helped destroy evidence of the stabbing, including burning Marcum's blood-covered clothes. They also suspect Delgado of helping Marcum hide from police by booking a hotel room for him in her name.
Both Marcum and Delgado were arraigned in Ada County Thursday afternoon.
Marcum is charged with aggravated battery and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of felony. His bond is set at $1,000,000.
Delgado was booked on two felony charges, including destruction or alteration of evidence and being an accessory to a felony. Her bond is set at $250,000.
Both are due back in court for preliminary hearings on March 27.
