Nampa -- The city of Nampa got a little bit brighter Monday night. With the flip of a switch, the city lit its annual Christmas tree.

The 30-foot tall blue spruce was donated by a Nampa family, and is decorated with more than 1,200 lights.

In addition to the lighting ceremony, Monday night's festivities included a free tour of the Nampa Train Depot and other fun holiday activities.
