BOISE -- A one-mile stretch of the Boise Greenbelt is closed while crews repave the path.

The project stretches from Lander Street to Willow Lane on the north side of the Boise River.

Diamond Contractors is working on the $300,000 project, which includes replacing the existing asphalt with a concrete surface, which a Boise Parks and Recreation spokeswoman says is more durable.

The project is expected to wrap up in early October.
