BOISE -- A small brush sparked overnight near the Idaho Department of Corrections. The flames started just before 3 a.m. near Ten Mile Creek Road.

Firefighters from Boise, Kuna, and the Boise Bureau of Land Management helped put out the flames.

BLMspokesperson Mallory Eils says about 5 acres burned.

The fire was controlled at 11 a.m. Thursday.

No word yet on what caused the fire.
