VALE -- An Ontario woman will be spending the next six years in prison for stabbing and killing her boyfriend in February.

The East Oregonian says the sentence on a manslaughter charge was the result of a plea bargain in the case of 23-year-old Ketra Siuce-Hale.

Siuce-Hale said at a hearing Monday that she swung a knife at another woman in self-defense and accidentally cut the boyfriend's neck.

Police reportedly searched for Suice-Hale for several days before they found her hiding in a bathroom in Weiser.
