ADA COUNTY -- Dynamis executives took the next step toward their Ada County plant. They gave their building permits and project details to the county Friday afternoon.

Dynamis is the company planning to build a waste-to-energy gasification plant out at the Hidden Hollow Landfill north of Boise. Some of their opposition questioned whether these plans would ever make it to the county. CEO Lloyd Mahaffey said it's been a complex, 24-month process creating all the plans.

We're working both with Ada County on the building permits and Idaho DEQ for the environmental permits. But this is a very important steps as we move into the final stages of the permitting for the project, so we're delighted to be here today turning these in, said Mahaffey.

He said Dynamis will break ground as soon as they get the permits.
