BOISE -- If you plan to travel on Milwaukee Street Sunday and Monday night, you'll want to be aware of some construction in the area.

Milwaukee north of Franklin Road will be temporarily restricted from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday and Monday. Crews from Union Pacific Railroad will be rebuilding the railroad crossing there.

The work is necessary to fix a failing base and buckling surface at the crossing. Damaged sections of the crossing will be repaired to re-establish a smooth driving surface.

During the repairs, Milwaukee will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the crossing each night during the work.
