HOMEDALE-- Fire destroyed a mobile home shortly before 9 p.m. on Friday at the Sunset Village mobile home park in Homedale.

Authorities say while the flames spread quickly, a woman inside was able to escape with no injuries.

Firefighters with the Homedale Fire Department were able to extinguish the flames, but the mobile home is reportedly a total loss.

Officer Andrew Arnold with the Homedale Police Department said it appears the fire started in a back bedroom, but authorities don't know the exact cause.

Two engines, two water tenders, and an ambulance responded to the fire.

Authorities are still investigating.
