COUNCIL, Idaho -- Smoke is clearing out of the city of Council and the small town of Fruitvale two days after the Weiser River Fire began.

The fire has burned more than 400 acres about five miles north of Council near the Weiser River.

The Forest Service expects crews to have the fire completely contained Monday night.

Adams County has reopened the Ridge Road.
