HOMEDALE -- An event at the Owyhee County Fairgrounds leads to several fights and several injured victims.

The Owyhee County Sheriff's Office tells us the fights broke out around 9 p.m. Sunday.

They say it all happened during a rodeo and concert event with 1,700 people in attendance.

Owyhee County Sheriff's Deputy Karl Kingston says when he got to the scene, it was chaos.

There was a lot of chaos in parking lot, a lot of people running, trying to figure out who all had been hit, concerned about time, trying to get ambulance here as soon as possible, said Kingston.

He says one fight continued to another location where someone was hurt.

Kingston says while an ambulance was responding to that scene, another fight spilled into the parking lot of the fairgrounds.

He says that's when a suspect hit several cars and a woman before driving off.

When I arrived here in the parking lot, individual was down on the ground, conflicting reports about vehicle itself, tried to make sure victim was stabilized, asked for more help with the fights, was not able to get inside fairgrounds at that time to find out what exactly was going on, said Kingston.

The second victim was transported to West Valley Medical Center.

No word on either victims' condition or injuries.

Homedale Police are now investigating, and are looking for the suspect in the hit and run.

We're told he is driving a black or dark gray Chevy Tahoe.

Anyone with information should call the Owyhee County Sheriff's Office at 208-495-1154.
