BOISE -- A fundraiser at Boise State University last week for the Make-A-Wish Foundation was a record breaking night for the charity.

Organizers say the 10th annual Serving Up Wishes night helped raise over $265,000.

The gala was held at the Stueckle Sky Center at Bronco Stadium on Sept. 4.

The unique fundraiser featured 80 student-athletes from all of Boise State's athletic teams serving at volunteers and entertaining guests.

Bronco student-athletes raised over $20,000 with BSU's softball team raising the most in donations.

In the 10 years of the event, over 800 Boise State student-athletes have volunteered for the gala, helping to grant over 200 wishes for Idaho kids.

Online donations will continue to be accepted through Sept. 18 on the Serving Up Wishes site.
