MOSCOW, Idaho -- On Wednesday, the University of Idaho announced their plans to install a state-of-the-art video board inside the Kibbie Dome prior to this upcoming football season.
The video portion of the new YESCO board will measure 30-feet by 50-feet and produce up to 4.4 trillion colors with a 15 mm pixel display to provide the highest quality resolution.
"We are excited bout the partnerships we have developed, which enabled us to provide this dynamic addition to our gameday experience and atmosphere," Director of Athletics Robb Spear said. "Not only will we be able to deliver the highest quality video of game action and replays, but our fans can join the fun with interactive promotions."
The new video board will cost $787,321, all of which is being funded through private monies.
The installation will begin on June 10 with a completion date set for the first week of August.
