MOSCOW--  The Idaho Vandals didn't get off to the start that they wanted last Thursday when they fell to Bowling Green in a disappointing 32-15 loss.  The good news is that the Vandals have a chance to bounce back against a team that they should beat.  The Vandals hammered North Dakota last year, 45-0, in their season opener, and will once again host the Fighting Sioux at home on Saturday.
It is a game that players and coaches believe that they can win, if they can play like they know they can.
"We've just got to be ourselves," Idaho head coach Robb Akey said.  "Go out there and play the way we're capable of, respond to adversity.  That's our job.  We didn't respond to adversity very well.  We had plenty of opportunities to pull ourselves out of it in all three phases of Saturday's game, and we didn't get it done."
"We just need to come out and have nothing to lose," quarterback Brian Reader said.
The game will be televised in the Treasure Valley on Digital Channel 7.2.
