Monday was a good day for a couple of former Idaho Vandal athletes, as both football player David Vobora and basketball player Jeff Ledbetter both signed with pro teams.
Vobora, a linebacker drafted with the final pick of the 2008 draft by St. Louis, agreed to a contract with the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks released former Nevada running back Vai Taua to free up roster space.
Shooting guard Jeff Ledbetter told KTVB's Jay Tust that he had signed on with a professional team in Switzerland. He will join the team next week and play for the next year. Ledbetter was named to the All-WAC Second Team in 2010-2011.
