Broncos, Vandals recognized by conferences

Boise State freshmen Anthony Drmic and Derrick Marks have made an immediate impact on the Boise State Broncos.  In their first year with the program, the two youngsters have combined to be the top two scorers on the team.  Both were recognized for their play on Monday when they were named to the honorable mention All-Mountain West team. 
Drmic, a 6-foot-6, 196-pound guard/forward from Victoria, Australia, averaged 11.8 points per game for the Broncos.  Marks, a 6-3, 206-pound guard from Chicago chipped in 9.4 points per game in his first season in blue-and-orange.

Boise State junior forward Lauren Lenhardt has been recognized by the Mountain West Conference for her play.  The Eagle high grad was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team on Monday.  Lenhardt averaged 13.8 points per game for the Broncos while shooting a team best 50 percent from the floor, and pulled down 5.9 rebounds. 
Senior guard Kati Isham was also named honorable mention All-Mountain West on Monday.

Idaho Vandal junior forward Kyle Barone was named to the All-WAC Second Team on Monday.  Barone averaged 12.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this season. 
Senior guard Deremy Geiger was named honorable mention All-WAC, Landon Tatum was named to the all-defensive team, and senior post Djim Bandoumel was named to the all-newcomer team.
