Steelheads torch Wranglers, win 6-3

BOISE-- The Idaho Steelheads picked up their 11th win of the season, gliding past Las Vegas 6-3 on Friday Night.

Idaho started the night quickly when Adrian Foster redirected a shot that found the back of the net just 3:30 into the contest. Sam Carrick put the home team up two goals just a few minutes later when he found a loose puck in from of the net and backhanded it home just three minutes later. The Wranglers decided to pull goalie Joe Fallon later in the period when Austin Smith beat the net minder with a high wrist shot that found the top right corner of the goal.

After that the rout was on. The Steelheads added two more goal in the second and one in the third to secure the win.

Idaho goalie Josh Robinson picked up the win, turning aside 44 of 47 shots.

Idaho will host Las Vegas again tomorrow night.
