BOISE -- A new state-of-the-art video board in Bronco Stadium will be ready when the Broncos take the blue turf this Saturday for football team's home opener against Tennessee-Martin.

Boise State athletic department officials told KTVB completion of the giant video board is ahead of schedule.

On Monday, crews removed the old video board at the north end of the stadium.

The new video board, built by Daktronics, will measure 37.2 feet tall and 58.8 feet wide.  It features a 15mm HD LED display panel which should make viewing much easier from an any seat.

BSU Director of Athletics Mark Coyle told us earlier this summer that the upgraded video board has been a priority, and will improve the game experience for fans.

The new video board sits on the roof of the newly-constructed Bleymaier Football Center.

Additionally, Bronco Stadium's sound system is getting an upgrade that will be ready for Saturday's game.

Kick off Saturday against Tennessee-Martin is set for 1 p.m.
