Single-game tickets go on sale Monday

BOISE -- We're a month away from the Boise State home opener.

A new coaching staff with strong Boise State ties has turned the excitement level up a notch for Bronco Nation.

Proof can be found at the ticket office. Since the stadium expanded to nearly 34,000 the idea of sellouts at home have been pretty much earmarked for the BYU's and Fresno State's of the world, but it might be a different story this season.

Boise State announced today that individual game tickets will go on sale this Monday meaning current Boise State season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to buy additional seats for home games beginning at 9 a.m., and they will be able to do that for two weeks before the remaining tickets go on sale to non-season ticket holders on August 18.

Its a complicated process that goes in the order of rank in the Bronco Athletic Association. The top 250 members can begin purchasing tickets on Monday, the 4th, followed by member's ranked 251-1000 on Tuesday, 1001-2000 on Wednesday, and 2001 or higher and non-priority season ticket holders on Thursday.

A link will be emailed to season ticket holders' accounts on Sunday.

The big home game this season will be BYU on Friday, October 24 will no doubt will be a sellout, and it will carry the highest single game ticket price of $85 in the premium section.

The lowest priced ticket will be for the Louisiana-Lafayette game on September 20 with tickets going for $25 in the north end zone.

There are also mini-packages available. Boise State officials say they will guarantee seats at two of high profile games:

  • Orange Mini Plan includes Fresno State on Oct. 17 and San Diego State on Nov. 15

  • An individual ticket for each plan is $105 in sections 31 and 131
  • $120 for sections 101, 128 and 130
  • Group tickets are available for all home games, with the exception of BYU.
