BOISE - Another Bronco has been added to an award watch list this season. Nose tackle David Moa is six among Mountain West players to make the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year watch list.
The sophomore has turned heads this season, racking up 12 tackles and a team-high 5.5 sacks. He has also batted down three passes.
The aptly nicknamed "Moa Constrictor" ranks fourth in the country in sacks-per-game (1.38), and is tied for sixth in total sacks (5.5). He has been a big contributor to Boise State's defensive efforts this season. The Broncos currently lead the FBS with 4.25 sacks per game and rank fifth in rushing defense (72 yards per game).
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame will announce five finalists for the award on Nov. 17, and the winner will be announced on Dec. 7.
