CALDWELL—The No. 10 ranked College of Idaho men’s basketball team stormed back on Friday night to win their sixth-straight game, defeating No. 21 Concordia, 84-79. The Yotes held the Cavaliers to just one made field goal in the final seven minutes of the game, and outscored their opponent 22-7 down the stretch in the come-from-behind victory.
The College of Idaho took a four-point lead into halftime, but gave that all back in the second half. Concordia (19-5, 7-4) led 72-62 with seven minutes to play, but the Yotes rallied and retook the lead on a Taylor Pruett put-back late in the game. C of I (19-5, 10-2) was able to hit key free throws down the stretch, and put the game away.
Pruett finished with a team high 24 point and 16 rebounds, while Demetrius Perkins chipped in 17 in the win.
The College of Idaho will host Warner Pacific on Saturday.
