Middleton golfer Cali Hipp made plenty of noise this week at the US Girls' Junior Championship in North Carolina.
Thursday, Hipp won her 1st-round match at the Junior Championship on the 21st hole, thanks to a near hole-in-one.
That was after playing well enough on Monday and Tuesday to even get into match play.
Unfortunately, Hipp lost her 2nd-round match in the afternoon.
But, she did make it to the sweet 16 of the US Girls' Junior Championship. Which means, essentially, that she is one of the top 16 female golfers in the Nation, under the age of 18.
