BOISE -- The Idaho Stampede picked up a 104-88 win over Texas on Saturday, thanks to the efforts of former Boise State player Coby Karl.
On a near perfect night from the floor, Karl scored a team-high 25 points on just eight shots (7-8 FG, 4-5 3FG, 7-8 FG) to go along with eight assists.
Josh Owens (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Sean Evans (16 points, 11 rebounds) each chipped in with a double-double for the Stampede, who are now 7-17 on the season.
Idaho returns home on Friday, Feb. 1 against Los Angeles. The game will be broadcast live on Idaho's Very Own 24/7.
The Stampede will were pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game on Saturday, Feb. 2 for St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute.
